Es por esto que tras haber cerrado el tercer trimestre de este año 2020, la empresa ha mostrado un crecimiento enorme que ha dejado atrás a empresas como Apple, quien el año pasado se encontraba por encima de la compañía china.
Como vemos en la gráfica Xiaomi en este tercer trimestre del año envió 46,2 millones de dispositivos cubriendo una cuota del mercado del 13%, según los datos proporcionados por IDC. Otra fuente de datos, Canalys, afirma que la empresa envió 47,1 millones de terminales y cubrió el 13,5% del mercado.
Mientras que la empresa de Cupertino envió 41,6 millones de dispositivos cubriendo un 11,8% del mercado tecnológico, según afirma IDC. Mientras que Canalys, proporciona un envío de 43,2 millones de terminales y una participación en el mercado del 12,4%.
Aunque en estos datos no se ha recogido el envío de los nuevos dispositivos de la compañía de la manzana, los iPhone 12, debido a su retraso, se cree que para el siguiente trimestre Apple pueda remontar estos números y superar nuevamente a Xiaomi.
Según informa IDC, el crecimiento de Xiaomi se debe mayoritariamente a la gran venta de sus dispositivos de gama media en el mercado de India y China, ya que teléfonos como la serie Redmi 9 ha tenido un gran auge en estos mercados.
Como vemos en las gráficas, Samsung sigue manteniendo este año el puesto número 1 en el ranking, y pese a todos los inconvenientes que ha tenido la compañía Huawei, conserva el puesto 2 con una disminución en sus envíos pero siendo superior al de Xiaomi.
Esperamos que a finales de año se muestren nuevos gráficos y así poder ver si con la salida de los iPhone 12, Apple puede superar a la que hasta ahora le ha robado el puesto número 3 en el ranking.
